U12 ECq: Slovakia lost important game against Belgium
Two unbeaten teams faced each other on Saturday during U12 European Championship qualifier. The winner would practically ensure the spot in the elite category for the next season.
Slovak players were unable to carry on their momentum from the previous games and were already behind after the first inning. Belgium was also extremely efficient, when they took advantage of every opportunity to score runs.
The two hour long game finished 5-12 and Slovakia thus lost their chance to finish first in the group. On Sunday they will play Hungary. If they were to win, the would finish second in the group.
