MiLB: Adam Macko played in Triple-A
Slovak player Adam Macko played for Buffalo Bison for the first time on Tuesday. Left-hander threw his first game in the highest tier of minor leagues and there’s is only MLB ahead of him.
Bison called up Macko from New Hampshire and he got the chance to start right away in the game against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. Two thirds of the opponent’s lineup played in MLB, which was plain to see. Slovak threw 3 innings, where he allowed 3 runs, all of which came after homeruns. Beside that he also struck out 3 players.
Based on the information from Baseball Savant, Macko relied on his strongest pitch – slider. He threw it 25 times out of 70 pitches. His fastest throw went 93.8 mph.
Shuffling up to Buffalo!
