College Baseball: For homeruns for Zelenka and Pospíšil
It was another successful week for the Czech players overseas. This time we didn’t get to see Ondřej Vank playing, as his school didn’t play any games, nor Viktor Hluchý.
Coaches of UNC Wilmington could not ignore Martin Zelenka’s performance from the beginning of the season any longer, and Czech got a chance to start during the entire season against Charlotte. Zelenka had 4 hits and 7 RBI in 3 games. He shone in the first game, where he blasted his first homerun of the season.

Aleš Zhao pitched for Minnesota West for the first time. He threw 3.1 innings against Going Yard Academy, where he allowed 6 runs (5 ER) and struck out 7 players. He had a good game in the offense against Dakota, especially in the second game where he helped his team to 14-13 team. Zhao had 3 hits, the last one being a walkoff. He did not have any more hits in the other 3 duels where he had 8 at-bats.

Lukáš Pacal earned his first loss of the season even if his performance was not bad once again. He allowed 3 runs in 6 innings. Unforunately, his teammates only scored 1 run against Salt Lake CC and Arizona West thus lost 1-3.
Pitt Community College return to the action with Jan Pospíšil. He played all 4 games and once again performed well. He only went hitless in one game and in two he had 2 hits. On Saturday his first homerun wrapped up the game against Fayetteville Technical Community College in the sixth inning. He helped his team to 14-4 win with 5 RBI.
