EXL: Japan’s Ryuta Okada will play in Ostrava
Japanese player Ryuta Okada will play for Arrows Ostrava in the upcoming season. The club announced the signing on their social networks accounts.
Twenty five year old Ryuta Okada comes to Ostrava after a year in German baseball league. There he played for Hamburg Stealers, where he had BA .263 and OBP .324 in 24 games. Before that he played three seasons for Osaka Zeroroku Bulls in Sawakami Kansai Independent League. He was picked to All-star roster in 2023 in Japan with his BA was .329.
Okada was limited by a left hand injury, but despite this he played the entire previous season. He should be all ready for the upcoming season.
