EXL: Third match of the Czech Series is here. Will it be the last?
After two matches of the Czech Series, we are nearing the last week of the Extraliga baseball. It will start today at 19:00 CEST at MBS in Brno, in the match that can determine the season’s winner.
After winning both games previous weekend, it is Draci Brno who are much closer to snatching the title. Arrows Ostrava will be put under pressure, as they have to win today to prolong their season. For this reason Arrows send Ondřej Satoria on the mound, who proved to cause more trouble to Draci offense previous week. Home team will rely on Radim Chroust whose pitching played a huge role in the first game of the series.
In offense, Draci will hope Petr Čech can keep his bat hot. With 5 H and 4 RBI in the series, he was named Player of the Week, overshadowing others. For Arrows, we can look forward to Jakub Kubica who will fight for his team’s survival, but will also have a chance to break the Czech Extraliga record in BB in season.
Arrows Ostrava would like to keep their title streak alive, aiming for the hattrick. However, Draci Brno are a formidable opponent, trying to win their 22nd title in history of the competition.
