College Baseball: Chlup with a homerun, Menšík’s NC State racks up another loss
Two Czechs, Marek Chlup and Vojtěch Menšík, were in action on Friday and Saturday.
NC State with Vojtěch Menšík played two games against Georgia Tech, but they were unable to win either of them. First game started on Friday, but it was postponed due to the rain. The game was finished on Saturday and Menšík managed to get a hit. He only got two at bats in the second game before he was substituted in the seventh inning.
Marek Chlup‚s North Greenville played doubleheader against Erskine on Saturday. They lost the first game 2-3, despite a solo homerun by Czech that scored the second run. Chlup managed to get on base three times in the second game. His OBP is currently .472, ranking him as the first among the regular players within the team.
