College Baseball: Furko with a loss, Chlup’s four hits

Friday and Saturday saw more college games in USA. Ondřej Furko and Marek Chlup saw the action, while weather once again postponned Pitt vs. NC State game, where Vojtěch Menšík still awaits his first game of the season.

Ondřej Furko started on the mound on Friday for Arizona Western. However, his second game was a rough one, when he only pitched two innings. Furko was substituted after Southern Nevada scored five runs despite two of them being due to a defensive error. Southern Nevada won 5-8, which saw Furko with his first loss of the season.

North Greenville played a doubleheader against Emmanuel College on Saturday, with Marek Chlup in the lineup for both games. Czech national player continued with good performances, with two hits in both games. Chlup was 2 out of 4 in both games, and he is currently holding an impressive .400 BA.
