College Baseball: Martin Zelenka with his first run
After the games of Martin Zelenka’s Pitt Community College were postponed last week, the young baseballer finally saw the opposition from Mount Olive on Wednesday.
Czech player was missing from the lineup at the beginning, but he took his bat in the 7th inning after coaches made several changes. Zelenka started on a positive note, with a ball in play. Only few moments later he got his first run, which was then followed by his teammates. Mount Olive managed to respond, turning the score from 4-5 to 6-5 in the following innings, however. It was Zelenka, who had a chance to spring his team back to life in the 9th inning, unfortunately, he was unable to add another hit.
