EXL: Czech Extraliga games will be streamed in USA
ČBA announced a very interesting news today after they agreed the terms with For the Fans organization. This means that at least three Extraliga games will be streamed on demands in USA every week.
For the Fans specializes in sport event streaming, that fans in USA can watch live, or on demand. Fans in USA will be able to watch Czech Extraliga through their cable provider, or through different applications, such as Fubo TV, Roku, or similar.
The entire collaboration came to being after an extensive discussions between For the Fans and ČBA. On the Czech side, it was Tomáš Kovala who did a huge amount of work, and he admitted for our page that he was part of the conversation as early as December. He also mentioned that first three games were already streamed previous week.
For the Czech clubs the collaboration comes with financial gain, where they get a small share for ads. For the Fans will also provide viewer numbers every month. There are six clubs which are currently part of this collaboration (Draci Brno, Eagles Praha, Kotlářka Praha, Nuclears Třebíč, Sokol Hluboká and Tempo Praha) and we hope the rest will soon follow.
