EXL: Hluboká lost two wins due to rules violation
A rather peculiar news came from ČBA today, which announced on their Facebook profile that Sokol Hluboká nad Vltavou will loose two of their three wins against Eagles Praha due to league rules violation.
Specifically, it were the Friday and Saturday games played in Prague, where Hluboká played more than two foreign players at the same time. Judging by the Saturday game, the biggest issue is likely playing Vasil Zhupanin. Despite Zhupanin living in the Czech Republic for some time, he was born in Ukraine and still holds Ukrainian citizenship. Hluboká likely just didn’t realize this and considered him a home-grown player. The announcment is a tough blow for Hluboká who lost two important wins.
