While Czech Extraliga is in full swing, Slovak fans had to wait till the middle of May. The reward for the patience is that they can watch the game in person.
First game of 2021 season is planned on Saturday 11:00 and it will feature the reigning champions from Apollo Bratislava who will play against the newcomers from Outmen Skalica. Second duel of the opening week will see Maceitos Jelka and Angels Trnava play on Sunday. Only the weather can set the games back, as the weather forecast claims it will be raining.

Slovak baseball will celebrate 30 years since it was founded and this was the reason the league changed the name from Slovak Extraliga to Slovak Baseball League. And all baseballers in Slovakia believe this year will be begining of a new and better era of the game in the country below Tatra Mountains.
