Bundesliga: Tomáš Ondra with the first win of the season
Czech Extraliga had an off week, but German Bundesliga, with three Czech players continued.
Guggenberger Legionäre Regensburg played a doubleheader against Stuttgart, who were at the third place behind Legionäre. The Reds came closer in the standings after they beat Regensburg 4-3 in the first game. Jan Tomek started for Legionäre, he only allowed 2 runs in 4.2 IP and was subbed with score at 2-2.
Second game brought a dominant win for Legionäre, when the score showed 16-1. Furthermore, Tomáš Ondra entered the game for 5 outs, having 4 SO on 6 batters he faced. Since Regensburg starter didn’t throw 5 complete innings, Czech was the one who earned the win.
Kamil Pejchal became one of the core players for Tübingen Hawks this year. This time, he didn’t played as a pitcher against Heidenheim, however. He earned one BB and but had no hits in two games he played.
