Angels Trnava couldn’t find the way to beat the reigning Slovak Baseball League champions in the second game. Bratislava is now one win away from the league title.
Apollo entered the game well, when they took the lead in the first inning after RBI from Martin Brunegraf and Alexander Václavík. Bratislava continued to increase their lead in the following innings until the score difference was too large and game ended on mercy rule.

Martin Gieci became the hero of the game. Bratislava starter didn’t allow any hits for six innings and was substituted at the beginning of the seventh inning by Adam Zacko. Apollo was hoping for combined no-hitter, however, with two outs, Šimon Sabo hit a double and ended the hopes for Bratislava mark in the history.
Apollo is now only a win away from SBL title. The series will continue next Saturday and Trnava will have to win if they hope to keep the series alive.
