U12 European Championship: Czechs with a dominant win against Poland
Czech U12 national team started the European Championship with a dominant win when they beat Poland 23-0 in three innings.
Czechs started the game well, scoring 4 runs in the first inning. However, it was only the beginning of their offensive dominance, as they followed it up with 19 (!) runs in the second inning. Bára Jedelská became the MVP for Czech team when she earned 3 hits (two triples) and had 8 RBI.
Pitching duo in Matěj Smějkal and Adam Kohout didn’t allow any hits and only gave away 1 BB.
Czechs will continue with the important game against current European Champions from Italy on Wednesday. The game starts at 9:30. They will then continue with another tough game against France at 17:45. To advance to semifinals, Czech will need to win at least one game tomorrow.
