Czechs beaten by Germany in the second friendly
Mike Griffin’s team played the second friendly game before European Championship. This time they played against Germany, and lost the game 3-6.
The game was scoreless for four innings, however, it was Germany who scored first in the fifth inning. With two runs they went ahead 2-0.
Czech team responded in the following half of the inning and took the lead on their side with three runs. But their lead didn’t last long, as only few minutes later, Germans took it again with a two run homerun.
Germany added two more runs by the end of the game, while Czechs couldn’t master any more scoring. The friendly game allowed coaches to test out different players in various situations. The final nomination will be announced on Monday.
