Czechs will play in Super 6 tournament again
After four years a prestigious Super 6 tournament returns. In the following season it will be hosted between 5th and 10th September in Barcelona.
The tournament started in 2018 and it was originally meant to fill the gap created after European Championship moved to the odd years. Czech Republic only managed to beat Belgium in Netherland Hoofddorp and finished at the last sixth spot.
In the second year six best teams from the European Championship automatically qualified. Along with Czech Republic, the tournament will host Netherlands, Israel, Italy, Spain and Great Britain. Unlike in 2018 we won’t see Belgium and Germany who didn’t have a good European Championship and finished in 8th and 9th place.
It will be a huge start for new national team coach Pavel Chadim. Before that Czech Republic will play at Prague Baseball Week.
