College Baseball: Marek Chlup added another homerun to his stats
There were three Czechs playing overseas in the past three days. Martin Zelenka is yet to return for Pitt Community College as he’s recovering from the left leg injury.
Charleston Southern once again played Daniel Padyšák on the mound. He had a chance to enter the game as a reliever in Friday game against Delaware State, where he threw an inning without allowing a run. In the end, CSU won 12-4.
North Greenville University played on Friday and continued with a double header against Francis Marion on Saturday. NGU won two of three games and Marek Chlup was once again an important part of the team. The second game was the best of the weekend for him, when he had 3 hits and a homerun. Thanks to this, Chlup has BA .392 and 15 RBI after fourteen games played.
David Bauer played for his high school Cardinal Gibbons against West Broward Bobcats on Thursday. In the end, he earned two hits a walk and two stolen bases. Even this wasn’t enough as Gibbons lost 3-7.
