EXL: Technika signed Luis Rengel
Technika Brno returns to Extraliga this season and they already announced another foreign signing. Brno team signed a deal with Venezuelan pitcher Luis Rengel.
Thirty one year old player has experience with Extraliga as he previously played for Olympia Blansko. He was one of the best players on the team that unfortunately was not able to keep their Extraliga spot. In the regular season he threw 49 innings with 3.86 ERA and 80 SO. Additionally, he also had great numbers at bat with .412/.524/.412. In the Promotion League he added 27.2 innings with 3.25 ERA. Even this wasn’t enough to get him at least a win.
Luis Rengel will be remembered for his May performance when he played two games in three days, adding 25 SO. Now, fans at Kraví Hora, can look forward to his pitching.
