Petr Ditrich named vice-president of WBSC Europe
WBSC European Congress took place on 12th of February in Slovenian Ljublana, establishing the organization which will cover baseball and softball at the old continent. The congress also saw the voting for the new executive board.
Importantly for the Czech baseball, current head of Czech Baseball Association Petr Ditrich got elected as the vice-president for baseball in WBSC Europe. He had previous experience from the same position in CEB (Confederation of European Baseball). It is interesting to note that current head of Czech Softball Association Gabriel Waage was also elected as the vice-president for softball.

Croatian Kruno Karin, former General secretary of CEB was voted president of WBSC Europe.
