Czechs started the game quickly, when a homerun from the leadoff Milan Prokop scored the first run. They then increased the lead in the third inning, with an RBI from Martin Pernička.

Jake Rabinowitz then came in the ninth inning and closed the game. Czechs started the tournament with 7-1 win. They will continue on Thursday at 16:30 when they face Old World Baseball, that lost 4-13 to Spain.
