EXL: Hroši Brno tied the series after 8-0 win
Draci Brno were leading 2-1 in 2022 Czech Series after the first week. Extraliga finals continued on Sunday at Hroši brno field and the home team had a chance to halt Draci and tie the series.
Hroši players started aggressively, pressing Draci starter Filip Čapka and scoring 3 run in the first inning. In the end, Draci pitcher threw 6 innings, allowing 12 hits and 6 runs.
On the other hand, Hroši could rely on Lukáš Ercoli, who kept them in the game and gave them opportunity to win as he didn’t allow any run in 8 innings he pitched. Jakub Bílek then came to close the game, making Draci scoreless for the first time in the series.
Hroši outplayed Draci offensively as well, as they had 16 hits against 4 from Draci. Lukáš Trunkát showed his offensive prowess with 4 hits, while Kellen Croce corrected the score against Václav Tauš in the seventh inning, when he scored 2 run homerun.
Czech Series is now tied at 2-2 and we get to see who will be closer to the title on Monday, when the fifth game of the series is played in YD Baseball arena.
