EXL: Tyler Smith returns to Hroši Brno
South African Tyler Smith returns to the squad of previous year’s Extraliga runner-ups. The information was published by the club.
Twenty five year old Smith came to Moravian capital after a year with Arrows Ostrava and he quickly became an important part for an ambitious team led by Alexander Derhak. Smith batted .319 and OBP .415 in 43 games he played for Hroši. While this didn’t surpass his numbers from Ostrava, it was still an exceptional performance. Smith currently holds 6th place in historical standings in OBP, which he now gets a chance to improve on.
