EXL: Hluboká allegedly signed two Japanese players

All eyes of Czech baseball community were turned towards World Baseball Classic in Japan. Now that the national team is back, we can see a few Japanese players as well. And they should play for Sokol Hluboká.

The information was brought by nikkansports.com which was also shared by Japanese ambassador in Czech Republic, mister Hideo Suzuki. According to the information pitching duo Rui Narasaki and Ichige Takamune should play for Hluboká in the upcoming season.

Czechs fan will be more familiar with Takamune, as twenty seven year old pitcher played for Sydney Blue Sox in Australian ABL in the winter season. In 9.2 innings he had ERA 8.38. He also played for Seisa Doto University in Japan, afterwards moving to Kirayaka Bank in lower leagues. He played for Ibaraki Astro Planets in independent BC League in the past two years. In the previous season, right handed pitcher threw 60.1 innings with ERA 3.13 for Ibaraki.

Younger Narasaki comes from the same team, where he threw 48 innings with ERA 1.69 and 40 SO in the previous season.

According to nikkansports.com intermediary of the deal was Kodai Hamaya, who played in Europe in the past, where he played for Italian Nettuno. Hamaya was part of Ibaraki in 2021 and thus know both players well.
