Pavel Chadim invited fans to breakfast for supporting the team against China
Czech national team manager Pavel Chadim showed his character. Before World Baseball Classic, he promised to invite the fans, who would cheer the team at Tokyo Dome against China, to a breakfast during 2023 European Championship. He kept his word and we now know the place and date.
This nice event will take place on the first day of European Championship, 24th of September in Ostrava. Czech will play at 18:00 CEST against Austria. While the actual place of the breakfast is not known, Chadim expressed his wish for it to take place directly in Arrows Park. Fans will thus have a great opportunity to ask the manager anything, or to express their support before the championship.
[Translated] Dear fans, members of Czech Baseball Fanclub. Me and the rest of the team would like to thank you for your undying support which is not limited to WBC in Japan. We really appreciate it and we felt your support, thanks to which we played much better even against favorites. I promised here that all fans of the Fan club, who took their time and traveled to Japan to help us get a win at WBC, will be invited to a breakfast before EC in September. I want to keep my word, and so I invite all the fans, who pushed us towards the win against China, to a breakfast in Ostrava on Saturday, 24th of September. Please, send an email to p.podhajecky@centrum.cz till the end of April, president of Fan Club Pavel Podhajecký will help me with organization. I believe we will be enjoying the breakfast in Arrows Park and we get a positive start in the group stage that we play in Ostrava

Along with this, Czech manager also announced the creation of “Czech national team fund for supporting game and education of young talents abroad” in the following days. It will start with an auction of two kits from World Baseball Classic. Fans will get a chance to own a very valuable memorabilia and support a good cause.
