Eagles Praha pointed out an interesting thing recently. Petr Zýma created a new club’s record in number of runs, when he overtook the previous leader Matěj Hejma.
Thirty three year old national team player doesn’t play in all games, and even so, he plays most of them as DH. His last game was at the beginning of May when he played against Arrows Ostrava. He entered the game with 420 runs and he shared the first place with Hejma.

Prague entered the ninth inning 1-7 behind and Zýma went to the batting box second, adding a hit against Michal Puškár. Jan Výbora moved him to the second base with another hit and after a walk for Mikuláš Hanuš he reached the third. Filip Kubíček§s double meant Zýma got his 421st run and overtook Hejma in the first place.
