Draci beat Arrows 14-10 to wrap up Champions Cup
The last game of Champions Cup didn’t hold much weight for either of Czech teams. And that’s why the rosters saw significant changes, as a lot of core players were missing.
Draci started Vojtěch Ventruba, who allowed two runs in the first inning. He then centered himself and didn’t allow any more runs to Arrows. Brno was able to bat against Alexander Šín from the very beginning and they were 7-1 ahead after two innings.
In the end teams played nine pitchers, hit 26 hits and 24 runs. Sibling duo Matyáš and Jan Kozel had 6 hits for Arrows. For Draci only Tomáš Chadim had three hits.
The game finished with Draci win and both teams thus finished the tournament with three wins from five games. This is an improvement from the previous year, where they both won only once.
