A great news arrived from Kutno, Poland on Thursday, where a qualification for Junior League tournament was played. The competition was dominated by Czech Region South and thus the nation will have their team in the World Series.
Czechs started the tournament well, as they beat Italy 6-0 in the first game. They dominated Ukraine in the second game, beating them 18-0. Region South remained in the winning bracket after the third game as well, when they beat Netherlands 8-3. Czechs then had a day off while they waited for their opponent in the final, which would be the winner of Italy – Netherlands game.

It was Italy who won in the end, after they beat Dutch 3-1 and they wanted their revenge against Czechs on Thursday. The final was a much closer game, but in the end Czechs took 5-4 win. Thanks to this they can look forward to the main tournament, which will be played between 13th and 20th of August in Michigan.
