Czech Baseball Cup has 5 out of 6 games of the third round finished. Both Arrows Ostrava, and Draci Brno advanced, however, it’s already clear that at least two Extraliga teams didn’t get through.
The first team to leave the competition is Tempo Praha, who were unable to beat their city rival from Troja, SaBaT Praha, after they lost 2-12. The second Extraliga team to lose is Eagles Praha. Despite losing, Eagles were leading Hippos 7-4 in the ninth inning, Brno team, however, managed to tie the game. Eagles took the lead again, but Matthias Schwarzinger’s walkoff hit saw Hippos win 9-8.
