EXL: Eagles Praha are closer to winning the third place
Beside Extraliga finals, we also saw the bronze game series started over the week, this year between Eagles Praha and Hroši Brno. And it’s Eagles who are closer to winning the third place after the first game.
Hroši started their young pitchers as Jakub Bílek started on the mound. On the other hand, Eagles relied on Samuel Steigert. And the difference was obvious. Whiles Eagles scored from the get go, Hroši only scored one run.
Prague team finished the game after seven inning, winning 14-1. They had a good synergy in the first half of the lineup, who had 8 out of 11 hits. Marek Slabý was the only player to have 3 hits in the game.
Hroši played 4 pitchers, while Steigert remained on the mound for 7 innings, where he striked out 5.
Eagles will get a chance to win the bronze medals on Sunday at home.
