EXL: Jakub Hajtmar is the first player to reach 300 stolen bases
This season brought another milestone reached. Jakub Hajtmar became the first man in the Extraliga history to steal 300 bases. This news was broke by server baseball-stat.cz
Hajtmar stole his 300th base in the semifinal game against Eagles. Draci performed a successful double steal in the fifth inning and Hajtmar moved from the second to the third base. It was 19th stolen base on the season for him and 300th in his career. National team player attempted to start his road to 400 stolen bases in the finals, however, his attempt was unsuccessful.
Historical tables show that Hajtmar will remain on top for a while. When in comes to active players, it’s Aleš Navrátil who is the closes, however, he is already 49 years old and is 116 stolen bases behind Hajtmar.
