The upcoming edition of Prague Baseball Week could be one of the best in terms of quality. Moving the start shortly before Harlem Baseball Week gives Czech Baseball Association an opportunity to invite teams who can see it as a preparation. And of these teams will be Japan’s national university team.
As informed by chunici.co.jp, Japanese University Baseball Federation convened in Tokyo on Tuesday. During this they confirmed the university team will play different tournaments across Europe. Japan should play their games at Prague Baseball Week between 6th and 8th of July, followed by Harlem Baseball Week between 12th and 19th of July.

We now know two team which will play at PBW. Beside Japan’s university team, Czech national team will also take part, after they won the tournament in 2023. We need to wait to get the confirmation on other teams. It would be great if organizers can lure in another team taking part in the Dutch tournament, where NJCAA All-Star Team also plays.
