South African national team player Tyler Smith returns to Extraliga for 2024 season. Once again, he should wear Hroši kit, which the club confirmed on their social network pages.
Twenty six year old Smith entered Extraliga in 2021 when he joined Arrows Ostrava and right in his first year he celebrated the league title. He then signed with Hroši at the end of the season where he played two more seasons. He repeated his finals appearance in 2022 for Brno team, but he „only“ took the silver medal. Hroši were unable to get to the finals in the previous season.

Smith currently has BA .349 and OBP .457 in three seasons. He also added 82 RBI, 13 HR, and 18 SB from 23 attempts. He is also valuable in the defense, where he mainly played as a shortstop, or on the second base.
