Milan Prokop will play in Japanese Baseball Challenge League
Czech player will have its representative in Japanese independent baseball league after years of absence. After Jakub Sládek who played there more than 10 years ago, Milan Prokop signed in Baseball Challenge League.
Draci Brno player agreed the terms with Kanagawa Future Dreams, which became his second stint abroad. He previously played for Combine Academy in USA. After returning back he won two league titles with Draci and earned his nomination to World Baseball Classic team. Fans got to see him in Tokyo Dome in a sold-out game against the home team.
Twenty year old Milan Prokop temporarily leaves Extraliga where he played 4 season and despite the young age he has BA .280 and OBP .464. His performance went up especially in the previous season, where he finished as the third best player in homeruns with seven. His OBP .464 also got him to TOP 3 in Czech Extraliga. He will now get to improve his skills in the country of the raising sun.
Czech fans will be pleased to know they can follow the young player live. Kanagawa streamed their home games through YouTube in the previous year.
