EXL: Třebíč announced signing Hawaiian Breland Almadova
A new about an interesting signing came from Extraliga club Třebíč Nuclears. Experience Breland Almadova who started to play baseball on Hawaii, is headed to Vysočina.
Thirty year old Almadova was picked by Arizona DiamondBacks in 2012 MLB Draft and spent 4 seasons with the organization. His top level was A+, where he played 417 games with BA .270, OBP .348, and 19 HR. In 2014 he won Golden Glove in MiLB, awarded to the best defensive player for each position.
Since 2016 he played in independent leagues in USA. He shone especially in Frontier League, where he always got his BA above .300. In defense, he mainly played the infield. He also played a several of games as a reliever.
In the past two seasons he played for Party Animals, with whom he played Banana Ball against the famous Savannah Bananas and entertained the baseball fans across the entire USA.
