EXL: Eagles signed Japanese Koya Uemura
Extraliga club Eagles Praha announced two signings on Monday. Beside Natsuki Tamba, who we already wrote about, Prague team also signed Koya Uemura.
Based on the information from social networks, twenty six year old Uemura is a two-way player, who can pitch and play in the outfield. He should be a power hitter. So far he played in Japan for Osaka Ohtani University, Fukushima Red Hope, and Sakai Shrikes. He also played along with Tamba in his previous club.
„I’m looking forward to Prague and meeting the entire team. I’m happy to be able to play in the Czech Republic along with Natsuki,“ he said for Eagles.
