Martin Červenka with two homeruns against Heidenheim
Extraliga teams started the game preparation for the upcoming season. One of the hot contestants for the title is Hroši Brno who played with their new signing Martin Červenka against Heidenheim. National team catcher showed just why he was signed when he blasted two homeruns on Saturday.
Based on the information from Hroši instagram, Červenka first blasted a three run homerun, for him to add a solo homerun afterwards. He also played in an unusual position, as a shortstop, when Petr Čech played behind the home plate and Marek Krejčiřík on the third base.
The new signing then played on the third base in the second game of the day.
Hroši might rotate the catcher position between Červenka, Čech, and Trunkát, having likely the most depth in the squad in the entire league.
