Czech trio in professional leagues has a slow start
There are currently three Czech players in professional leagues across the world. Marek Chlup in American Association for Lake County DockHounds, Milan Prokop for Kanagawa and Willie Escala in Frontier League ofr Sussex County Miners.
While Chlup had a good start for Tempo in Extraliga, looking at his numbers in USA is not excellent. Czech player, however, only played 6 games so far, where he is 3 for 21, which results into AVG .143. His OBP is currently .208.
Another Czech national team player Willie Escala plays in Frontier League for Sussex County Miners. He played 5 games so far where he had 4 hits and AVG .222. His current OBP is .263 and SLG .333.
Milan Prokop also doesn’t get many playing chances in Japan for Kanagawa as he play only 7 games. He had 1 hit in his first at bat. Since then he is waiting for another successful hit and after 13 AB, his AVG is .077.
