With Spring season being finalized in USA, there are news coming in about the signings for the Summer League. And one of these concerns Czech national team player Michal Kovala, who will play for Newport Gulls.
Kovala is a freshman for Georgia Tech who play NCAA D1. He finished the regular season with 17.1 IP and 17 SO. His ERA 4.15 is the best among the pitchers in the team.

Newport Gulls are a part of New England Collegiate Baseball League in Costal Division. They were able to win this league 7 times, their latest title coming in the previous season. Their home stadium, Cardines Field, has capacity of 3000 fans.
Kovala’s teammate Ryan Jaros also signed for Newport. Jaros had BA .343 in this season and was the third best batter for Georgia Tech.
