Czechs will have team in Senior League main tournament
Europe-Africa qualification for Senior League main tournament took place in Italian Novara. Czech baseball was represented by Region South, which advanced from the national qualification.
Czechs entered the tournament with a 4-1 win against France and then beat Netherlands, Italy 8-3, and Germany 11-1. This meant they finished in the first place in the group and faced Italy in the finals.
They continued their momentum and beat the home team without allowing any runs (8-0).
Czechs went through the entire tournament without a loss and will play in the main tournament at the end of July and beginning of August, which will take place in Easley in South Carolina.
