College Baseball: Chlup with another HR, Padyšák threw 7 innings
Czech baseball players continued with their impressive results in Saturday college baseball games.
Daniel Padyšák started on the mound for Charleston Southern in their first game. He threw 7 innings, only allowing 3 runs. His teammates were, however, only able to score one run and in the end CSU lost 1-3.
NC State squared off against North Carolina. Vojtěch Menšík helped his team to win with two hits and it seems he is on a roll right now.
Marek Chlup continued with excellent performance as North Greenville won against Salem University. Chlup earned 4 hits, one of which he blasted behind the fence, he increased his tally to 9 HR on the season. Additionally, he was close to getting a Cycle, where he only missed a Triple, however, NGU coaches decided to substitute him with lead 15-1 firm in hands.
Pitt Community played a doubleheader against Patrick Henry with Martin Zelenka in the lineup for both of them. He didn’t earn a hit this time, however Zelenka still managed to get on base three times.
Marcus Weinzimmer entered the game for Puget Sound as a pinch-hitter, but he is still awaiting his first hit of the season.
