Bundesliga: Kamil Pejchal has the first win
Similar to the Czech Republic, Germany continues to play their top baseball league. When it comes to Czechs playing there, so far only Kamil Pejchal is getting to play.
Czech played in both weekend games in Tübingen. In the first one he started as an outfielder and earned a hit. He was subbed in the third inning by Robin Schestag. In the end, his team won 16-15.
The second game also saw plenty of runs being scored. Pejchal didn’t start the game, but he pitched in the bottom of the eight inning, when his opponents head 2 runners on base with score 9-7. After a contact, Tübingen defense played a double play. In the nineth inning, also thanks to Czech, Hawks managed to increase their lead to 12-7. Pejchal pitched bottom of the nineth as well, but he couldn’t play any outs against 5 batters. Heicko Bradin came to save the game, but it was Pejchal who earned the win after the game ended 12-9.
