College Baseball: Menšík with two homeruns. Zelenka is in the finals
College baseball season is nearing its end, but there are still several Czech players in the team lineups. And they regularly show, why their teams play them.
NC State played four games in the previous week and Vojtěch Menšík was in the spotlight. Czech had two homeruns, doubling his HR tally. Additionally, he helped his team to advance to the ACC conference finals tournament. It will be played between 25th-30th of May. NC State still has to play three games against Florida State this week. The outcome of the series will determine the second place in Atlantic division.

Charleston Southern played second to last week of the regular season, however, they were unable to get any wins in three games against Radford. In the first game Daniel Padyšák started for CSU. He allowed four runs in four innings, increasing his ERA to 4.92.
Charleston University (UCW) played in MEC Championship, with Filip Smola playing in two games. He entered the game as a substitute, but was finally able to get his first hit on the season against West Liberty. Beside that, he showed off his defensive skills (see video below). UCW won against West Liberty, but was sent to the loser bracket by Concord and then lost against Alderson Broaddus.

Pitt Community College had a chance to win South Atlantic District Tournament. They reached the finals after three wins. The finale will be played on Monday and Pitt will play against the winner of the loser bracket. If they lose on Monday, Pitt will get a chance to win the tournament on Tuesday. Martin Zelenka played in all three games, amassing five hits. In the third game he also had a solo homerun, increasing his team lead to 3-0.
