Adam Macko added another great start for AquaSox
Slovak pitcher Adam Macko started on the mound for Everett when AquaSox hosted Hillsboro Hops for the second time this season. And it was a great performance this time as well.
Macko didn’t start the game well as the first two batters he faced reached bases and Hops took 1-0 lead. However, he then started to dominate and finished the inning with three strikeouts. Home batters couldn’t get any hits against him in the following innings and Macko finished his outing with 8 strikeouts. He was substituted after five innings while his team was 0-1 behind. AquaSox then managed to tie the game, however, Hillsboro scored another run, which AquaSox didn’t manage to respond to.
Macko’s pitching caught an eye of the journalists abroad and prestigious server The Athletics wrote about him on Thursday.
