MiLB: Adam Macko returned to the winning ways

Adam Macko playing for Seattle Mariners organization, got a chance to start in another game for their minors team Everett AquaSox. And he once again showed, why Mariners see a lot of potential in him.

Slovak player started against Vancouver Canadians. This time he threw 5 innings and for the first time this season he didn’t allow any runs. Batter of Toronto Blue Jays minors team only had 2 hits against Macko. On the other hand, he striked out 7 batters.

As the winner was decided in the extra innings, Macko didn’t get the win. But it was his start that helped his team to 4-2 win. As far as strikeouts go, he’s the only player who has more than 40 strikeouts in Northwest League this season. The second player in the statistics is currnetly 9 SO behind.
