U18 WC: Mexicans better in the late game against Czechs
Czechs had two games planned for Friday. The first one was the postponed duel against Mexico. For a long time, the game was close, but Mexicans were better in the late game and they earned their first win of the tournament.
Czechs started Jan Kozel. He threw a complete game and kept his team competitive. Unfortunately, Czech defense made several errors, due to which Mexico took 2-0 lead in the fifth inning.
We had to wait until the sixth inning for the first Czech run, which came thanks to Michal Šindelka. This was all from Czech bats and in the end they lost 1-4.
This was the first lost in Placement group for Czech Republic. The team currently holds 2-1 record.
