Czech U18 team played another game on the tournament in Porto Rico on Monday, this time against the hosting team. They were unable to carry on the momentum from the win against Mexico and earned the first loss.
Czech team had a rough start to the game when they were 11-0 after three innings. The fourth inning saw David Křeček bat in the first and the only Czech run.

Czechs were able to threaten their opponent in the fifth inning, and loaded the bases, but they were unable to score any runs. The same situation occurred an inning later, but it too came to nothing.
In the end Czechs lost 1-11 and will continue on the tournament on Tuesday at 20:00 CET against Australia.
