Saturday game between Draci and Sokol Hluboká wrote a historical record. A long-term national team player and Draci Brno player Jakub Hajtmar became only the 4th player in Extraliga to reach 900 career hits.
Thirty seven year old Hajtmar reached 900th hit in the 7th when he hit a single against Vojtěch Vlach. The defense also made a throwing error to the first base after his hit and Brno hitter reached the third base. It also meant Draci increased their lead to 9-6, eventually winning 13-6.

Hajtmar is now the third, among the active players, when it comes to career hits, with Aleš Navrátil, and Jakub Malík ahead of him. The second place belongs to Hajtmar’s long-term teammate Pavel Budský.
