After years where Milujeme Baseball focused mostly on the online space we move towards the field. We would like to start project Diamond Queens, which will focus on girls‘ baseball.

We are not starting a new club, however. Our aim is to give girls chance to play extra games, ideally against other girl teams. For this reason we accepted the invitation to the international tournament „Baseball is for girls, too“, which will take place in Bratislava between 15th and 16th of November. We would like to form a team from girls from Czech Region East, playing under the name Diamond Queens.
In the following weeks we will contact the parents of the players in the regions (few of whom already agreed) with the aim to build a competitive team. Our main goal won’t be wins, however, however deepening of the love towards this beautiful sport. We want them to build new friendships and contacts within the region, but also internationally. We believe that some of the girls will be able to return this experience back to the Czech baseball.
Beside the participation on the tournament we would also organize a tournament in the winter months. Same as „Baseball is for girls, too“ it would be for U11 category. In the future, however, we would like to look into extending the project into more age groups.
