The regular college baseball update is back with its second edition. We will once again take a look at Nicolas O’Rourke, who is, so far, the only Czech player to get a play time.
Diablo Valley played against Marin on Tuesday with O’Rourke as a starting pitcher, but it was not a good outing for him, when he had to be pulled after walking three batters (0.0 IP, 0 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 0 SO). However, Marin batters dominated the other Diablo Valley pitchers and in the end Marin won 25-5. The Czech player played two more games over the weekend. He entered the first one against Cabrillo in the eighth inning, where he had 1 hit and 1 run, lowering down the score to the final 13-9. O’Rourke started on Sunday against Monterey Peninsula, this time in the left field. He earned a BB and a run. But even this wasn’t enough for a win and Diablo Valley lost 13-19. The team currently holds 0-5 record.

Season started for Embry-Riddle, too. They played three games and won two. Czech David Bauer didn’t play in any of the games.
